Even the second edition of NUCE INTERNATIONAL, the international fair and conference for the industries of Nutraceutics, Cosmeceutics, "Functional Foods & Drinks" and "Health Ingredients", which took place from 5 to 7 October within LIFE-MED and alongside CHEM-MED, registered top results: 250 exhibitors from 21 countries, over an exhibition area of 8,000 square meters, 10,250 visitors, and an interesting conference program and workshops with over 820 participants.
NUCE INTERNATIONAL won the approval of many who praised it as the new “hub” of the Mediterranean area for this sector and a reference point for the development of new business opportunities. NUCE INTERNATIONAL also represented an important moment for high-quality training and professional updates, with its technical-scientific conferences - attended by prestigious speakers and opinion leaders from university, administrations, scientific institutions, and industry - and workshops.
The next NUCE INTERNATIONAL, which will take place at fieramilanocity, is from 25 to 27 September 2012, once again within LIFE-MED and alongside FOOD-ING 2012, the new international fair and conference on food and beverage ingredients.

FEEDING THE PLANET - ENERGY FOR LIFE
Italy, at fieramilano (Milan Fair Center), will host the forthcoming Expo 2015. The city of Milan has been awarded the 2015 Expo thanks in part to the themes that will be foremost in this unique worldwide event: "Feeding the planet - Energy for life". From this perspective, NUCE 2010 will focus its attention also on sector solutions to support these initiatives.
